It takes several thousand pounds of petals to produce 1 pound of the absolute. This exotic smelling oil, native to India, is used for its relaxing and uplifting properties and has long been associated as an aphrodisiac. Its aroma is a rich and warm floral that has been a cornerstone for the perfume industry. Jasmine blends well with orange, grapefruit, sandalwood, rose, and ylang ylang.
